EURIPA Scientific Board

The rural health movement is gathering pace across Europe. Rural primary care research is in an early stage of development. Research activity varies - active foci exist in some countries while in others no rural research activity takes place. EURIPA aims to:

  • Bring rural researchers from across the region to share ideas and information
  • Stimulate research ideas and encourage more practitioners to become involved in research
  • Identify the level of rural health research activity across Europe
  • Identify key research areas of common interest that could be the focus of future bids for funding.

The chair of EURIPA's Scientific Board  is Ferdinando Petrazzuoli (Italy).  The members are Joyce Kenkre (UK), Josep Vidal-Alaball (Spain), Ozden Gokdemir (Turkey) and Jose Simoes (Portugal).
