There is a choice of airports to fly to in Romania: Bucharest or Sibiu.
When you arrive at Bucharest airport there is a bus that will bring you to the venue at Călimănești-Căciulata. The timetable for the bus can be found here. It will cost approximately €30 for a one way journey.
If the bus timetable doesn’t fit with your arrival time it may be possible to arrange an additional service, if enough people wish to use it. In order for the transport to be as convenient as possible for you, please complete the required form when you Register with your arrival and departure flight dates as well as the method of travel in Romania.
You can also contact the Romanian Society at dumitragino@snmf.ro and office@snmf.ro if you need help.
Alternatively there is a reasonably priced hotel at the airport:

Flying to Sibiu airport is closer to Călimănești-Căciulata. To get to the venue please complete the required form when you Register.
There is, of course, the possibility to hire a car at either airport, which is reasonably priced.
Travel by rail is also possible. There are regular trains from Otopeni airport to Bucharest North Railway Station.
From the North Station you can take a train to Calimanesti Caciulata, but the journey takes over 5 hours because it is not a route that uses the shortest route.
