Pr Mehmet Ungan, President of WONCA Europe, will honour us with his attendance at the Forum and will give a keynote address with the title:

            A Paradigm Shift & Core Values of GP/FM

The key note will take place on Thursday November 7 at 18 :15 (local time)

Pr Ungan is from Turkey and is a founder of the Turkish Association of Family Physicians.  He has been involved both with EGPRN and WONCA Europe over many years and was elected President of WONCA Europe in June this year.

The focus of his key note address in the EURIPA Forum is an important topic; the last revision about the definition of General Practice by WONCA was in 2011.  It is an opportunity for EURIPA to highlight the importance of rural GPs, not only due to their number, but also to mention the wide range of skills they have to have to accomplish their tasks for their patients and within the community.
